Interfaces Hierarchy
To
configure shared interfaces, you must be familiar with the [edit
interfaces] hierarchy in the Junos configuration command-line
interface (CLI).
Configuration statements that are unique to shared
interfaces are:
- shared-interface at the [edit interfaces
so-fpc/pic/slot], [edit interfaces ge-fpc/pic/slot], and [edit interfaces
xe-fpc/pic/slot] hierarchy levels
- interface-shared-with at the [edit interfaces
so-fpc/pic/slot unit logical unit-number], [edit interfaces
ge-fpc/pic/slot unit logical unit-number], and [edit
interfaces xe-fpc/pic/slot unit logical unit-number] hierarchy levels
For detailed information about all other configuration
statements under the [edit interfaces] hierarchy, see the Junos OS Network Interfaces Configuration Guide.
