Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.
Command introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Set the date and time.
date-time — Date and time. Enter this string inside quotation marks.
ntp — Use a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server to synchronize the current date and time setting on the router or switch.
ntp-server — (Optional) Specify the IP address of one or more NTP servers.
source-address source-address — (Optional) Specify the source address that the router or switch uses to contact the remote NTP server.
When you enter this command, you are provided feedback on the status of your request.
user@host> set date ntp
