Syntax

file list<detail | recursive><filename>

Release Information

Command introduced before Junos OS Release 7.4.

Command introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

Command introduced in Junos OS Release 11.1 for the QFX Series.

Description

Display a list of files on the local router or switch.

Options

none
—

Display a list of all files for the current directory.

detail | recursive
—

(Optional) Display detailed output or descend recursively through the directory hierarchy, respectively.

filename
—

(Optional) Display a list of files. For a routing matrix, the filename must include the chassis information.

Additional Information

The default directory is the home directory of the user logged in to the router or switch. To view available directories, enter a space and then a backslash (/) after the file list command. To view files within a specific directory, include a backslash followed by the directory and, optionally, subdirectory name after the file list command.
