Juniper Service Automation (Formerly AIS)
Juniper's service automation solution provides a comprehensive set of tools and technologies that leverages Junos embedded technology, maximizing uptime and minimizing downtime while streamlining operations and reducing operational expenditures.
Juniper's service automation capabilities are available to all Juniper support customers. The solution consists of the following components:
- Advanced Insight Scripts are installed on devices for incident detection and diagnostic log collection.
- Junos Space Service Now application is the reactive event management component of the automation solution. Junos Space Service Insight application provides proactive management and maintenance capabilities.
- Juniper Support Systems (JSS) are expert systems located within Juniper Networks.

Customers using Junos Space / Service Now release 11.1 and higher should use AI-Scripts Releases 2.6R1 or higher to include a fix for critical PR/594194.
6/21/11: Customers using any AI-Scripts release with Junos release 11.1 will experience inconsistent event-script triggering due to PR/613907. This bug causes many of the event-scripts to be completely dampened instead of for just the default 60 minutes. The target fix release is Junos 11.1R4.
All customers should read KB19155 before installing AI Scripts.
