JUNOSe Software Dates & Milestones
The table below details important information relevant to each JUNOSe software release. The dates and milestones provided are in accordance with the policies of JUNOSe at the time of each software release and are in accordance with stated End of Life/End of Support policies for Juniper Networks.

For JUNOSe software products, the period of active engineering support will sixteen (16) months from the FRS date. All software releases are considered major. The product release cycle is currently from 9.0 forward is every three (3) months.
Update releases (e.g. maintenance, patch and hotfix) will no longer be created for major software releases after the end of engineering (EOE) date.
JTAC support will continue from sixteen (16) months after FRS to twenty four (24) months. At twenty four (24) months the release has reached end of life (EOL). After EOE and until EOL JTAC support will be generally limited to investigation and troubleshooting in an attempt to provide solutions and workarounds.
When the release reaches EOL the software images are removed from www.juniper.net and JTAC will only provide support on a commercially reasonable effort basis.
1JUNOSe Extended End of Life (EEOL) release. Every JUNOSe release scheduled for FRS in the fourth quarter will receive additional months of engineering and JTAC support. JUNOSe EEOL releases will receive active engineering support for thirty-six (36) months from the FRS date. JTAC support will continue after EOE for six (6) months. The first JUNOSe Extended End of Life release is 9.3.
2As of the JUNOSe 9.0 release, JUNOSe has moved from a three (3) release a year schedule to a four (4) release a year schedule.
