Description:
SurgeLDAP is an LDAP server implementation. It is available for a number of platforms including Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix variants.
SurgeLDAP does not adequately secure password credentials. These credentials will be stored on the system hosting the server in plaintext and could be exposed to users with local access to the system. On Microsoft Windows, these credentials are reported to be stored in the 'user.dat' file in the program directory.
