Phorum is a PHP based web forums package.
Phorum Phorum Stats program has been reported prone to remote arbitrary command execution vulnerability.
The issue presents itself due to a lack of sufficient sanitization performed on user-supplied data submitted to the Phorum Stats program.
An attacker may submit arbitrary commands that will be executed in the context of the web server hosting the vulnerable Phorum.
Exploitation of this vulnerability may be dependent on configuration and may differ across systems.
It should be noted that although unconfirmed exploitation of this issue might be configuration dependant.
