MPCSoftWeb Guest Book is a web application for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
MPCSoftWeb Guest Book is prone to a vulnerability that could allow remote attackers to inject hostile HTML and script code into the guestbook system. The issue exists in the 'insertguest.asp' script. This is due to insufficient sanitization of guestbook form fields such as "Name", "location" and "comment". HTML and script code that is injected in this manner may be interpreted in the web browser of users who visit the guestbook site. This will occur in the security context of the site hosting the guestbook software.
Successful exploitation may allow for theft of cookie-based authentication credentials or other attacks.
