Title: IBM AIX Loadable Authentication Module Unauthorized Access Vulnerability

Description:
IBM AIX 5.1L is prone to an issue that may allow a remote attacker to obtain unauthorized access to a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists when AIX 5.1L is configured to use loadable authentication modules. This behaviour does not occur when a local password file, or NIS, are used.
A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by connecting to an AIX system with an invalid password. If the system is configured to use loadable authentication modules, for use with integrated login methods, this issue can be exploited to obtain elevated privileges, possibly root.
The default authentication mechanism for AIX is to use local password files.
