Title: Microsoft Internet Explorer Dialog Box Cross-Domain Violation Vulnerability

A problem has been reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer that could allow access to information in other browser windows.
Internet Explorer's use of dialog boxes makes it possible for a maliciously designed web page to present information via a dialog box that would execute script code in an unintended fashion. Upon the execution of code through the dialog box, a violation in browser security zone policy would occur that allows the origin web site to view the contents of web pages in other browser windows.
This problem would require a user visiting a web page that has been designed to present malicious dialog boxes. This type of attack would most commonly occur through social engineering.
This vulnerability may be related to one originally disclosed by Liu Die Yu, documented in Bugtraq ID 6306.
