Description:
ColdFusion includes a sample HTTP client application (cfdocs/examples/httpclient/mainframeset.cfm) which is prone to a remotely exploitable vulnerability.
The interface for the HTTP client is two frames. One frame allows the user to specify a URI to request, and the other frame will contain the response. A remote attacker may abuse this application to proxy a malicious connection to the host running the software, where otherwise the connection may be refused because it does not originate from the local host.
This may aid in attacks against the system hosting ColdFusion.
