Title: Xitami Webserver Administrative Port Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Description:

Xitami is a freely available Web server and is available for a variety of platforms including Microsoft Windows and Linux variant operating systems.

A denial of service vulnerability has been reported for the Xitami Webserver. Reportedly, the web server will crash when it receives overly long input on TCP port 81, used for administrative purposes.

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by connecting to a vulnerable Xitami Webserver on port 81 and issuing an overly long HTTP request. This will result in the web server crashing.

This vulnerability affects Xitami Webserver 2.4d3 and 2.4c3.
