Title: NullSoft Winamp 3.0 Media Library ID3v2 Album Tag Buffer Overrun Vulnerability

Description:

It has been reported that Winamp 3.0 is vulnerable to a buffer overrun condition related to handling of ID3v2 information in MP3 files. The overrun occurs when MP3 files with 'Album' ID3v2 tags of excessive length are opened via the Media Library interface.

Attackers may exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user who invoked Winamp.

It should be emphasized that this vulnerability is only exploitable if the victim user clicks on an MP3 file from within the Media Library.
