Title: TFTPD32 Long Filename Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Description:

Tftpd32 is a freely available TFTP (Trivial FTP) server available for use on Microsoft Windows operating systems.

A buffer-overflow vulnerability has been reported for Tftpd32. The vulnerability is due to insufficient checks on user-supplied input. Specifically, the software fails to perform proper bounds checking on requested filenames.

A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a long string consisting of at least 116 characters as a filename to retrieve. This will trigger the buffer-overflow condition. Successful exploitation of this issue will result in the execution of attacker-supplied code, with the privileges of the Tftpd32 process.

This vulnerability affects Tftpd32 2.50.2 and earlier.
