Title: Linux in.telnetd Denial of Service Vulnerability

Description:

When a telnet client connects to in.telnetd, the two attempt to negotiate a compatible terminal type (via the TERM environment variable). When the TERM variable in the client is set before connecting, it's possible that, depending on what TERM was set to, a denial of service can be caused.
