Title: Mozilla document.open() Memory Corruption Denial of Service Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Mozilla is a popular, freely available, open-source web browser. It runs on most Linux and Unix variants, as well as MacOS and Microsoft Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP operating systems.

A vulnerability has been discovered in Mozilla, that when triggered, will overwrite the instruction pointer of the process (EIP), with a random value. This issue occurs when document.open() is called as the action to be performed when a form is submitted. Because sensitive memory is corrupted, exploitation of this issue may result in a denial of service.
