Title: BlueFace Falcon Web Server Authentication Bypass Vulnerability

Description:

Falcon Web Server is a small, efficient web server for Microsoft Window's based operating systems. It is designed to run on a desktop machine to meet the needs of a small scale, low traffic web server.

Falcon includes support for virtual directory mappings which require user authentication. A vulnerability has been reported which allows an arbitrary remote user to bypass this authentication, and view protected directories. This may be accomplished by adding an additional / character to the request immediately before the protected directory.

Exploitation of this vulnerability may lead to the disclosure of sensitive information.

Earlier versions of Falcon Web Server may share this vulnerability.
