Title: AIX Ethernet Driver Denial of Service Attack Vulnerability
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
Some versions of AIX may be crashed by remote attackers by sending illegally sized packets. The crashes occur because the ethernet driver (srentdd) passes up packets that are too small to include all the headers. The ethernet driver should only pass up at least RFC compliant minimum sized packets.
