Description:

The EDraw Flowchart ActiveX control is a tool to create business and technical diagrams.

The EDraw Flowchart ActiveX control is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to bounds-check user-supplied data. The vulnerability occurs when handling a specially crafted '.edd' file.

This issue resides in the ActiveX control with the CLSID: (F685AFD8-A5CC-410E-98E4-BAA1C559BA61).

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application, typically Internet Explorer, that uses the ActiveX control. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
