Title: Fuctweb CapCC Plugin for WordPress 'plugins.php' SQL Injection Vulnerability
Severity: HIGH
Description:
Fuctweb CapCC Plugin for WordPress is a web-based application implemented in PHP. CATPCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a challenge-response protocol to determine if the user is a human or a computer.
The application is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to the 'CAPCC_MAX_ATTEMPTS' field of the 'plugins.php' script before using it in an SQL query.
Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.
CapCC 1.0 is affected; other versions may also be vulnerable.
Affected Products:
- Fuctweb CapCC 1.0
