Description:
Oracle9iAS Web Cache is a web caching solution for Oracle 9iAS Application Server, providing quick retrieval of dynamic web content.
Oracle9iAS Web Cache reveals the 'webcache.xml' file as world-readable, the file contains the password hash of the administrator account and potentially other sensitive information.
If a user were to obtain this information, it could be used to obtain plaintext passwords via a dictionary attack.
This may lead to an elevation of privileges for the user if the administrator's account password is successfully cracked.
