Title: AdCycle Remote SQL Query Modification Vulnerability

Severity: HIGH

Description:

AdCycle is a set of shareware ad management scripts written in Perl and back-ended by MySQL.

Many instances exist in the AdCycle scripts which may allow a remote attacker to modify the logic of an existing SQL query and manipulate the MySQL database that the software is back-ended by. The source of this issue is that a number of SQL queries are built with data that is not sufficiently validated by the vulnerable scripts.

The possibility also exists that SQL queries may also be manipulated to exploit vulnerabilities in the MySQL database, potentially allowing arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the web server user(typically 'nobody').
