Title: Achievo Document Types Section Arbitrary File Upload Vulnerability

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Achievo is a web-based resource-management tool implemented in PHP.

Achievo is prone to a vulnerability that lets attackers upload arbitrary files. The issue occurs because the application fails to adequately sanitize user-supplied input. Specifically, the vulnerability is in the 'Documents Type' section of the setup menu.

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to upload arbitrary code and run it in the context of the webserver process. This may facilitate unauthorized access or privilege escalation; other attacks are also possible.

Versions prior to Achievo 1.4.3 are vulnerable.
