Description:
Yoast Google Analytics for WordPress is a PHP-based plugin that adds Google Analytics tracking to a WordPress website.
The plugin is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sanitize user-supplied input. This issue occurs in the 404 error page.
An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.
This issue affects version 3.2.4 of the plugin.
