Description:
The script manual.php is used to display unix style man pages to users through a web interface. It accepts some user input as a parameter passed in the requesting URL.
This input is not properly checked for shell metacharacters. A maliciously constructed URL containing characters such as ; or | may include additional shell commands. These commands will then be executed as the web server process, generally user 'nobody'.
