Title: Apache Tomcat 404 Error Page Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability

Description:
Apache Tomcat is a Java-based webserver available for multiple operating systems.
The application is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sanitize user-supplied input. This issue occurs in the 404 error page.
An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.
Tomcat 3.2.1 is affected; other versions may also be vulnerable.
