Title: Drupal User Protect Cross Site Request Forgery Vulnerability

Severity: HIGH

Description:

User Protect provides editing protection for users of the Drupal content manager.

The application is prone to a cross-site request-forgery vulnerability. Specifically, the link used for deleting user protection fails to properly implement the Form API submission model, which is used to protect users from cross-site request-forgery attacks.

Exploiting this issue may allow a remote attacker to perform certain administrative actions, gain unauthorized access to the affected application, or delete certain data. Other attacks are also possible.

Affected Products:

  • Drupal User Protect 5.x-1.3
  • Drupal User Protect 6.x-1.2
