Title: Microsoft Windows TCP/IP Orphaned Connection Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability

Description:
TCP/IP is the set of network protocols used for the Internet.
The Microsoft Windows implementation of TCP/IP is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability that occurs in the TCP flow-control mechanism when handling 'zero-windows'. This issue occurs because the TCP/IP stack allows connections to hang indeterminately in the 'FIN-WAIT-1' or 'FIN-WAIT-2' state when in the 'ESTABLISHED' state.
An attacker can exploit this issue by initiating several connections designed to keep the 'FIN-WAIT-1' or 'FIN-WAIT-2' state open indefinitely.
The attacker can exploit this issue to crash the affected computer, denying service to legitimate users.
