Title: Sun Java Runtime Environment Audio System Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

Description:

Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is an enterprise development platform.

JRE is prone to a privilege-escalation vulnerability when running untrusted applications or applets. This issue is related to the audio system.

An attacker can exploit this issue by enticing an unsuspecting victim to view a webpage containing a malicious Java applet.

Successful exploits may allow the attacker to access the 'java.lang.System' properties and perform actions with elevated privileges on affected computers.

This issue affects the following:

JDK and JRE 6 Update 14 and prior
JDK and JRE 5.0 Update 19 and prior
