Description:
Joomla! is a PHP-based content manager.
The 'com_mailto' component of Joomla! is prone to a remote security-bypass vulnerability. Specifically, an attacker can bypass the timeout protection that is intended to prevent automated mailing.
The attacker may leverage the issue to use webservers that are hosting the vulnerable software to send unsolicited email.
Versions prior to Joomla! 1.5.14 are vulnerable.
