Title: Django URL Information Disclosure Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Django is a web development framework.

The application is prone to an information-disclosure vulnerability because it allows unauthorized users to access files on a victim's computer. Specifically, the application fails to properly check if the requested file is a static media file used by Django.

An attacker can exploit this issue by crafting and submitting a URI.

Exploiting the issue may allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information that could aid in further attacks.

Django development trunk, 0.96, and 1.0 are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
