Title: Citrix XenCenterWeb Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Citrix XenCenterWeb is a web interface for the Citrix XenServer environment management product.

XenCenterWeb is prone to the following input-validation vulnerabilities:

1. Multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities affect the following scripts and parameters:

'console.php': 'location', 'sessionid', 'vmname'
'forcerestart.php: 'vmname', 'vmrefid'
'forcesd.php', ''vmname', vmrefid'
'edituser.php': 'username'

2. An SQL-injection vulnerability affects the 'username' parameter of the 'login.php' script.

3. Multiple cross-site request-forgery vulnerabilities affect the 'changepw.php' and the 'hardstopvm.php' scripts.

4. A remote command-execution vulnerability affects the 'pool1' parameter of the 'writeconfig.php' script.

Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, perform unauthorized actions, steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

Affected Products:

  • Citrix XenCenterWeb
