Title: geccBBlite 'postatoda' Parameter Multiple HTML Injection Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

geccBBlite is a PHP-based web application.

The application is prone to multiple HTML-injection vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input. Specifically, these issues affect the 'postatoda' parameter of the 'scrivi.php' and 'rispondi.php' scripts. An attacker can supply arbitrary HTML and script code that will run in the context of a user's browser when the user views the data.

The attacker may be able to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user; other attacks are also possible.

Affected Products:

  • geccBBlite geccBBlite 0.1
