Description:
Sun Solaris is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability.
The issue occurs in the Solaris TCP/IP networking stack when the Cassini Gigabit-Ethernet device driver ('ce(7D)') processes jumbo frames and when hardware checksumming is enabled.
Exploiting this issue allows attackers to panic the vulnerable system, effectively denying service to legitimate users.
These issues affect Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris snv_01 through snv_82, and snv_111 through snv_117.
