Title: 'Compress::Raw::Zlib' Perl Module Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Description:
Perl is a multiplatform programming language. The 'Compress::Raw::Zlib' module provides a low-level interface to the 'zlib' compression library.
'Compress::Raw::Zlib' is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability that is triggered when the module is used to process compressed data. Specifically, the issue affects the 'inflate()' function of the 'Zlib.xs' file and stems from an off-by-one error that may result in a heap-overflow condition.
Successful exploits may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause denial-of-service conditions in applications that use the vulnerable module.
Versions prior to 'Compress::Raw::Zlib' 2.017 are affected.
