Title: Multiple Mr. CGI Guy Products Cookie Authentication Bypass Vulnerability
Severity: HIGH
Description:
Mr. CGI Guy has a number of web applications that are prone to an authentication-bypass vulnerability because they fail to adequately verify user-supplied input used for cookie-based authentication:
For ClickBank Directory
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'clickbank' cookie parameter to 'Logged+In' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.php' script.
For Hot Links SQL and Hot Links SQL-PHP
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'admin' cookie parameter to 'logged%20in' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.cgi' script.
For Amazon Directory
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'amazonadmin' cookie parameter to 'logged%20in' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.cgi' script.
For Message Box
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'mbadmin' cookie parameter to 'logged%20in' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.cgi' script.
For The Ticket System and The Ticket System PHP
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'ttc_admin' cookie parameter to '1%7Cadmin' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.cgi' script.
For Ultimate Profit Portal
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'uppadmin' cookie parameter to 'logged%20in' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.cgi' script.
For SimpLISTic SQL
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'amazonadmin' cookie parameter to 'logged in' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.cgi' script.
For Top Sites
Attackers can exploit the issue by setting the 'clickbank' cookie parameter to 'Logged+In' and the 'path' parameter to '/', and then accessing the 'admin.cgi' script.
Successful exploits may allow attackers to gain unauthorized administrator access to the affected application, which may aid in further attacks.
