Description:
Smarty Template Engine is a template-based content manager implemented in PHP.
Smarty Template Engine is prone to a security-bypass vulnerability because it fails to adequately sanitize user-supplied input. This issue occurs because the 'smarty_function_math()' function in the 'libs/plugins/function.math.php' source file fails to properly sanitize input before using it in an 'eval()' system call.
Attackers may exploit the issue to bypass certain security restrictions and execute arbitrary PHP code in the context of the application.
Smarty Template Engine 2.6.22 for Windows is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
