Title: LuxBum 'manager.php' Multiple SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

LuxBum is a web-based application for sharing photos and videos; it is implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to multiple SQL-injection vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the 'Username' and 'Password' parameters when the user logs in to the application through the 'manager.php' script.

To exploit this issue, 'dotclear auth' must be enabled; this is not the default.

A successful exploit can allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

LuxBum 0.5.5/stable is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • LuxBum LuxBum 0.5.5 /stable
