Title: BaoFeng Storm ActiveX Control 'OnBeforeVideoDownload()' Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Description:

BaoFeng Storm is a multimedia player.

The ActiveX control is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied input.

The issue affects the 'OnBeforeVideoDownload()' function of the 'Mps.dll' control identified by CLSID:

6BE52E1D-E586-474F-A6E2-1A85A9B4D9FB

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application using the ActiveX control (typically Internet Explorer). Failed attacks will likely cause denial-of-service conditions.
