Title: EZ-Blog 'public/specific.php' SQL Injection Vulnerability

Severity: HIGH

Description:

EZ-Blog is a PHP-based web-log application.

The application is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the 'category' parameter of the 'public/specific.php' script.

A successful exploit may allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

EZ-Blog beta2 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • EZ-Blog EZ-Blog beta2
