Description:
BinHex and MacBinary are binary file types used by the Macintosh operating systems.
An error in the interaction between Internet Explorer 5.1 and Mac OS X 10.1 may allow a file downloaded in either of the two formats to execute automatically once the download is complete. This could lead to arbitrary software being executed on the vulnerable machine.
Earlier versions of Internet Explorer have not been tested, but may also be vulnerable.
