Title: MixedCMS 1.0 Beta Multiple Remote Vulnerabilities
Severity: HIGH
Description:
MixedCMS is a PHP-based content manager.
The application is prone to these remote vulnerabilities:
1. A local file-include vulnerability occurs because the application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'mod' parameter of the 'modules/mod.php' script.
2. A directory-traversal vulnerability occurs because the application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'path' parameter of the 'modules/mod/download/DocMan.php' script.
3. An authentication-bypass vulnerability occurs because the application fails to properly restrict access to administrative features. Specifically, an attacker may access administrative scripts by setting the 'isadmin' CGI parameter to '1'.
4. An arbitrary-file-upload vulnerability occurs because the application fails to properly filter files uploaded through the 'download' module. The attacker must have administrative access to exploit this issue.
The attacker can exploit these issues to upload and execute arbitrary script code on an affected computer with the privileges of the webserver process, view or execute arbitrary local files, or gain unauthorized access to the affected application.
MixedCMS 1.0 Beta is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
