Title: InGate Firewalls and SIParators Multiple Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Ingate Firewalls are firewall devices that support Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) via SIParator SIP-based communication devices.

The devices are prone to multiple vulnerabilities that may allow attackers to trigger denial-of-service conditions or bypass certain security checks.

The following issues were reported:

1. The SIP module is prone to multiple denial-of-service issues. An attacker can trigger a crash by sending specially crafted packets.

2. Spoofing protection can be bypassed because the 'reject' policy is improperly enforced when handling data from unused gateways.

3. Spoofing protection and IPsec checks can be bypassed because of an error in the 'IDS/IPS' implementation.

4. A security-bypass issue allows anyone to configure a device. This issue arises when an IPsec tunnel using 'Remote/private address' as a remote network is permitted to configure the device.

Versions prior to 4.7.1 are vulnerable.
