Title: Abee CHM Maker and CHM eBook Creator 'FileName' Stack Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Description:

Abee CHM Maker is an application used to generate Microsoft Compiled HTML Help ('.chm') files. Abee CHM eBook Creator is an application used to generate eBooks based on CHM files.

The applications are prone to a stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because they fail to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied input. This issue occurs when an application fails to handle malformed data in the 'FileName' attribute of the CHM header.

Successfully exploiting this issue may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application. Failed exploit attempts will cause denial-of-service conditions.
