Title: Pixie CMS SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Severity: HIGH
Description:
Pixie CMS is PHP-based content manager.
Pixie CMS is prone to multiple SQL-injection vulnerabilities and a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data. Specifically, the cross-site scripting issue affects the 'x' parameter; the SQL-injection issues affect the HTTP 'Referer' header and the 'x' parameter.
Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.
