Title: Access Analyzer CGI Unspecified Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Access Analyzer CGI is a Perl-based application that allows users to view web access logs.

The application is prone to an unspecified cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input.

Very few technical details are currently available. We will update this BID as more information emerges.

An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site and to steal cookie-based authentication credentials.

Access Analyzer CGI 3.8.1 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • Futomi's CGI Cafe Access Analyzer CGI 3.8.1
