Description:
AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) is a real time messaging service for on line users.
A vulnerability exists in AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) which could cause the AIM client to stop responding.
Attacks can be launched if an instant message containing a file transfer with an unusually long filename, is received by an AIM recipient.
Restart of the application may be necessary in order to regain normal functionality.
