Title: Cisco Unified Communications Manager CAPF Service Denial of Service Vulnerability

Description:

Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) is a software-based call-processing component of the Cisco IP telephony solution. The application was formerly named Unified CallManager.

CUCM is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability when handling malformed input. This issue occurs in the Certificate Authority Proxy Function (CAPF) service listening on TCP Port 3804. This service is not enabled by default.

An attacker can exploit this issue to cause an interruption in voice services.
