Symbian S60 is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability when handling malformed SMS messages. Specifically, the issue occurs when devices with the Symbian S60 operating system try to display an overly large email address present in the 'from-address' field of an SMS or MSS message.
Attackers can exploit this issue to prevent users from sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages.
