Title: ViArt Shop 3.5 Multiple Remote Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

ViArt Shop is web-based shopping-cart software. It is implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to these remote vulnerabilities:

1. Multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities affect the following scripts and parameters:

'cart_save.php': 'cart_name'
'manuals_search.php': 'manuals_search'

2. An information-disclosure vulnerability occurs because of an SQL error. Specifically, the SQL tables are revealed to attackers because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to the 'user_id' parameter. To exploit this issue, an attacker must attempt to add a product to a shopping cart and then save the cart.

3. An authentication-bypass vulnerability may allow attackers to gain unauthorized access to a shopping cart. Specifically, only the cart name is required to gain access. The attacker can exploit this issue by using brute-force techniques.

The attacker can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary script code, steal cookie-based authentication credentials, obtain sensitive information, or gain unauthorized access to the affected application.

ViArt Shop 3.5 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • ViArt ViArt Shop 3.5
